How to specify the minute of an event in the Dribl App

Referees

The Dribl App allows you to capture in system the minute that an event occurred such as goal scored, substitution made or card issued.

To ensure you can access the full game section and minute functionality, please first ensure you have updated your Dribl App to the most up to date version of the Dribl app by visiting the relevant App Store for your device (Apple or Google Play store)

Event Minute entry process

The below example will demonstrate the minute entry of a yellow card in stoppage time of the first half.

  1. Click on the “Cards” menu for the relevant match
  2. Enter all details as per normal process of:  a) select the relevant team, b) select individual, c) select the relevant offence
  3. Select the Period of the match that the event occurred – options are:
  • First Half
  • Second Half
  • Extra Time First Half
  • Extra Time Second Half

** Extra Time First Half & Extra Time Second Half options are only visible for knockout matches such as cup competitions or finals series matches

For this example we will select the First Half

4. Now enter the minute the event occurred:

  • For any minute that is entered past the 45th minute in the period of “First Half”, the system will automatically convert this to a format of 45′ + x’ minutes to reflect that this incident occurred in stoppage time of the first half.
  • For any minute that is entered past the 90th minute in the period of “Second Half”, the system will automatically convert this to a format of 90′ + x’ minutes to reflect that this incident occurred in stoppage time of the second half.

Example below demonstrates a card that was issued in the 47th minute of the first half period – therefore the system has auto converted this entry to 45′ + 2′

The above process would also apply for the entry of goal scorer details and substitutions made also.
